Why UI Templates?
We want to make it easier for software developers, designers, and marketing professionals to portray more diverse and accurate representations of their users.
Across the software industry, UI mockups are popular and powerful tools for visualizing, testing, and marketing software designs to different audiences.
Many teams opt for ready-made UI templates to simplify their workflow. These reusable templates provide flexibility as designs evolve, and many emulate real-world scenarios - such as using a phone or computer - that eliminate the need for expensive photoshoots.
Looking at the current market, most such templates feature Caucasian models. This may be suitable for some use cases, but it becomes hard to represent and connect with more diverse audiences, and can even reinforce implicit biases in conceptualizing a product's user base.
This is why we created a series of high quality UI templates featuring models with a wide range of skin tones. It is our goal that teams will be able to easily incorporate these templates into their existing workflows and have more options for reflecting a broader range of users.
